Epic’s Room {Personal} | Calgary Family Photographer

Anyone who knows me knows I’m ridiculously picky.  I don’t just buy anything.  I spend hours online looking for exactly the right thing.  Sometimes this can be a good thing but sometimes it leaves rooms empty and walls bare for too long.  When it comes to my kids rooms I think things have turned out well.  I get a lot of complements on the kids rooms and people are always asking me where I got things from.  So here it is.  Epic’s Room, from left to right.

The Crib, Dresser/Change Table, Wall Unit:  Made by Nurseryworks available here in Calgary at E-Children

Green and white retro styled bedding in the crib and the receiving type blanket on the arm chair both come from olli&lime whom I LOVE! Epic’s set is their “George” line but if you look closely you might notice that Danger is the face of “Charlie” To be honest with you we didn’t do many changes to this room in between Danger and Epic.  The only things we did change were the kids bedding.  I’m one of those crazy people who think their kids should have things that are only theirs. With both the kids we invested in good quality blankets and such for them because I want to know that 25 years from now when they are having kids of their own they can wrap their kids in the same blankets they had when they were little.  Hopefully it will remind them of their childhood and how much their parents love them.

Art work.  Wee Gallery makes these cute canvas sets.  We have three different sets that we’ve mixed together.

As far as the light shade goes I wish I could help you out.  We got it from this small modern housing and accessories store here in old town Okotoks, unfortunately that store has since turned into a wine shop.  My heart is sad.  There were so many things I still wanted to purchase from that lovely place!

Lil’Cupcakes Designs is behind the super cute guitar blanket.  Chelsey and Candice own and operate this little gem and let me tell you not only are their designs fun and unique but their work is high quality!

The rocking chair/armchair is the Luca Glider made by Monte Designs is Canadian made and can also be found at E-Children
